Awaji-shima

A large island in the Utsumi Bay, it is named after its largest city, Awaji-shi, which is located on the island's northeast tip. The Pharos Islands are to the south. The city is Kiiro's largest port, one of the biggest in all of Yamatai, and handles much of the region's foreign trade. There is also a strong naval presence in its harbors and the bay region, to defend against pirates and potential foreign threats.
As for the rest of the island, its inner area mainly consists of farmlands and forests, with a few small towns scattered about. Numerous fishing villages can be found along its coasts.
