	Takane Mountains A large mountain range which stretches across all four of Yamatai's regions, cutting them off from the rest of the continent. Partially blanketed with forests, they are a valuable source of timber. 	Heian-kyō The ancient capital of Yamatai, and seat of the politically powerless imperial court. For the past century is has served as a center of culture and learning, as well as a place of great symbolical importance to the Yamatai people. 	Minato-chō A bustling castle town, located along the coast, Minato is directly to the southwest. It serves as the political and military capital of Kiiro. It is also an important commercial hub, as many of the foreign goods acquired in Awaji pass through here on their way to the rest of Kiiro and Yamatai. The formidable Minato-ki, main seat of the Hosokawa clan, is located on a raised hill adjacent to the town.	0	0	No posts have been made on this board.
	Awaji-shima A large island in the Utsumi Bay, it is named after its largest city, Awaji-shi, which is located on the island's northeast tip. The Pharos Islands are to the south. The city is Kiiro's largest port, one of the biggest in all of Yamatai, and handles much of the region's foreign trade. There is also a strong naval presence in its harbors and the bay region, to defend against pirates and potential foreign threats. As for the rest of the island, its inner area mainly consists of farmlands and forests, with a few small towns scattered about. Kiiro no kuni

The domain of the Hosokawa clan, Kiiro is located in southeastern Yamatai. It shares a border with the Amoraean Empire to the west, Izumo no kuni to the east, and Gekisenku no kuni to the north. The majority of Kiiro's population live in the southern plains, along the coast, and on Awaji-Island. The Takane Mountains dominate the northern and eastern regions, forming a natural barrier along most of its borders.
