With his lighter complexion betraying his mixed Ismaean/Amoraean origins, Lucios is a clean-shaven man whose successful buisness has left him somewhat soft about the middle.

Personality:
Lucios is a born salesman-- able to form an instant bond with someone, earning their trust and friendship while relieving of them of their gold. He usually keeps his large ego strictly hidden beneath a veneer of modesty and humble solicitude, but his vanity is less easily controlled.

History:
Lucios' own name -- a melange of Amoraean and Ismaean influences -- is representative of the intermarried Amorae-Ismaean community of which he is a part. The son and grandson of spice merchants, Lucios left Phoedetis Novapolis for the first time when he was eight and by the age of twelve had traveled throughout the Amoraean Empire learning the merchant's trade. Lucios was soon helping his father expand the business and undertaking his own deals.

The fall of the empire and the uncertainty which followed hit the family business hard, and the unhappy time was compounded by the sudden death of Lucios' father from illness. Now in charge himself, Lucios made the decision to refocus his trade on wine, reasoning that even in the worst times men will still pay for drink. The gamble paid off, and over the past years the family fortunes have recovered. Dealing both in bulk wine and specialty vintages, Lucios' business takes him all over the regions of the former Amoraean Empire.
