Some of you may or may not know of a site called TV Tropes. If not, it's simply a wiki which catalogs various devices and conventions found in creative works, or that is to say various tropes.
A number of works, including play-by-post forums, have their own entries and trope lists. So... please allow me to present RoaE's own entry: Click*
The whole thing is still a work in progress, but the main page contains a list of tropes that apply to the setting/forum as a whole. There is also a "characters" tab, which contains lists for character-specific tropes. No one's character(s) will be listed without permission. If you'd like to have yours included then please post here or PM me or Wolf.
For those who want their character(s) added, it would be helpful (but not necessary) if you provide a brief character description to head up his/her trope list. Anything from a couple sentences to a paragraph will do. Whatever you feel like writing (here* and here* are a couple character page examples).
It would also be helpful (but not necessary) if you list some tropes which apply to your character(s), as you know them far better than I would. Otherwise, it's just the information found in their profiles to work with in compiling that particular character's trope list.
Alternatively, any member can of course sign up with TV Tropes and make their own edits if they wish.
